  • 'INSIDE THE OLYMPIC INDUSTRY' with Dr. Helen Lenskyj, University of Toronto- a discussion of the Olympic industry and what the 2010 Olympics will mean for Whistler and Vancouver.
     
  • 'KNOW YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS" - Legal seminar held with David Eby from the BC Civil Liberties Association.
     
  • RBC AND TAR SANDS LEAFLETTING: Local residents leafletted the local branch of RBC to inform people about RBC's involvement as the largest funder of the Albert Tar Sands and its invovlement with the Olympics and greenwash campaign.
     
  • "THE GREAT IOC SWINDLE" with British investigative journalist, Andrew Jennings. Author of the infamous, Lord of the Rings discussed the IOC and the upcoming Olympic games.

  • Endorsed RMOW Council's ban on bottled water at all municipal buildings (effective May 1, 2010)
     
  • Asked Whistler Council to support the CETA (Canada - EU Trade Agreement) put forth by the City of Burnaby at the upcoming FCM (Federation of Canadian Municipalities) in June in Toronto, ON.
